Building Custom Homes for Over 40 Years
Back in the mid-1980's, Terry Holmes built his first house in Carrollton, Texas. A framer and roofer by trade from Rochester, New York, Terry took a big risk in building his first house in 1983. Forty-plus years later, Terry and his team of experts are still building beautiful custom homes in DFW and have been named D Magazine’s Best Home Builder since 2006.
In the early days, homes were 2,500+ square feet and more simple in design. But, they were always custom! Holmes Builders has been a truly custom builder from its inception. As the company grew, Holmes Builders spread into the Farmers Branch, Flower Mound, and Coppell markets. Over the years, Holmes Builders has built in a substantial portion of North Texas, including Dallas, Frisco, Plano, Las Colinas, Flower Mound, Colleyville, Keller, and Southlake.
Today, Holmes Builders is known for a distinct product. Holmes homes are thoroughly custom. From the floor plan to the elevations, each element of the home is designed to satisfy the tastes of clients.
